Top Quality Installation by Licensed Contractors
Professional State-Licensed Installation
Discount
Carpets & Flooring can
provide quality professional installation for any of the
flooring we sell. We do this by partnering with independent
licensed contractors. Licensure insures that a contractor is
certified by the State to provide both professional quality of
installation as well as consistent professional bidding and
service.
Since 2005 Discount Carpets and Flooring has partnered with contractors Charles Nganga and David Collins to install flooring. The quality and price of their work is top notch. Both Charles and David are family men who have lived and worked here in our community for years and will be here to stand behind their work for years to come. Since Charles and David are not our employees, you'll save money on your installation: Unlike most flooring stores, we don’t add the typical additional 10% - 15% fee for labor.
Do It Yourself
Many floors are very easy to install for do-it-yourselfers. If you have the time and the know-how why pay someone else for something you can do yourself?
- If no seams are present carpet can be stretched in with no more than a knee kicker.
- Modern laminates are glue-less and require minimal tools and floor preparation for install.
- Engineered hardwoods can be installed glue-less tongue and groove just like laminate. All you need are some basic tools and padding, all of which we stock.
- Mannington vinyls offer “triple option backing” on all their running line felt backed vinyls which allows these floors to be installed without glue in small areas like bathrooms, mud rooms and some kitchens.
- If your carpet has many seams, your vinyl requires underlayment or extensive patterning, or you’re putting in solid hardwood flooring I highly recommend hiring or at least consulting a licensed flooring contractor as these installations require special tools and tricks which a professional is well positioned to offer you.
- If you choose to install a product that carries a warranty yourself please pay careful attention to the instructions provided by the manufacturer or your warranty may become void.
